Hi all I'm new here and it's my first post, my name is Chris, and at best I'm a intermediate guitarist, BUT I'm enthusiastic.
I'm looking to buy a Zoom multi effects pedal, and get Charlie's EFTP patches for it.
So my question is twofold, which unit is best? and of course where do I get the patches from?
thanks in advance

EFTP Patches are no longer available, Charlie stopped doing them because of piratesy. The only way to get them is if you buy a unit with them already installed. Before you buy any advertised unit get the serial number and check with Charlie that it is a genuine unit before you buy it. You will get some good advice from members on this site treading through this minefield. Regards, Baz.

Hi Chris, Baz has give you one option, but you might find the following thread worth a look before making a decision: charliehall.proboards.com/thread/26666/new-binsonyou will need to look down through the threads to see where the Strymon Volante is discussed and you will find some links to YT demo videos by Dave Robinson. I hasten to add that this is not a patched EFTP style unit, but there is help to getting started and 8 presets can be stored on board with more via MIDI (the onboard ones should be sufficient, with minor tweaking between numbers). Regards Gary

Hi,
I've used Zoom G2, G3, G7 and G9 for Shadows patches. I think that the G3 sounds the best. The G7 & G9 seemed very bright. Unfortunately it appears that *** Hall no longer sells the patches file. I stand corrected if I am wrong.
May I suggest looking at "The ShadowsMusic Web Community" web site and search for "Dave Robinsons Free Zoom Patches" in the site search box. On one of the pages you should find a link to some free patches.
As I understand it Dave can now longer supply patches due to other demands on his time.
Again I stand corrected if I am wrong and offer my apologies.
Hope this helps
Regards,
