Brian, although I do not know you, your post brought tears to my eyes. I cannot imagine what you are going through at the moment and know that your respect for this site and the friends you have made, especially hoadies, have made you put your current feelings into words. Your thoughts are with me Brian and I pray that I will hear from you again in a more positive frame of mind.
Kindest regards, Jim

Hi Brian, I am very sad to read your message and can only hope that a miracle could happen (it has been known I think), so make the most of what you still have and do things while you can, as we all should do because you never know when things could happen to change that. I used to be frightened of the end of life but now have come to terms with it, and can even look forward to it in some ways, and we all will have to face it at some point. I think if one can accomplish all that they wanted to do in this life then the only thing left to do is to try and enjoy the rest of it as comfortably as possible and just do what we want to do. I think we will all hope that you will be visiting here as much as possible but if you feel you have other things you want to do we will all understand. Regards, Charlie

Hi Brian, Well much has been said already about your situation, we have never met but I have enjoyed the banter, and all I can say mate is that if this awful disease does get the better of you then you have some good people to look forward to meeting upstairs ( its where all Shads fans go ) and that includes my Dad, who was a french horn player in the royal horse guards and the kings trumpeter, and my three brothers, all taken with cancer, so I can guarantee you will have a blast if you get to meet them.
It must have taken a great deal to make your post, and I know that all of us that visit this site will be praying for a miracle as indicated by Charlie. My very best. Steve Valentine Toronto

How very sad Brian and how braveof you to come here and confide in us.
You have my/our very best wishes and the hope that you can take some comfort that we are all with you.
As Charlie said,I also was/am frightened of the end but, there is no point in worrying about something we have no control over.
Be strong Brian

Hi Brian,
There is nothing I can add to what has already been said, to offer you any comfort, only to say that these computers have made the world such a small place.
All of us have become friends and neighbours and strange to say, very attached to each other.
If things are as you suggest, then so be it, we can do nothing to change it.
But remember we will all be in a far better place soon and we will be together...............all of us!!
To quote a song we all know "There will be one hell of a band".
God bless Brian................'till we meet.
Ray.

Hi Brian,
I'm so sorry and saddened to hear this. I can't seem to find the right words to say other than what has already been put so well by our other friends. My thoughts are with you Brian.

Brian.
Just gut wrenching to read your mail, I am so sorry, my thoughts are with you and your family in this terrible time. I cannot write anymore in desperation of finding the right words to convey to you. I am at a total loss.
