Hi All Two weeks ago I purchased a set of JC Vintage pickups and I totally agree with Aussie Barry the sound of these pickups are really good. I had a set of Vintage Toneriders in my guitar that I though were not too bad but these JC Vintage one`s blow them away. A nice ringing tone and muted notes sound out. Even my wife came in the door from shopping when I was testing them and said they sound good .Just though I would share that with you`s Cheers Bruce :

GOODONYA-BRUCE,,,, THEY are really very good vintage p/up's that's for sure ,glad you also back-that-up bruce & mine are in my US std strat & it really lifted that nice gutsy-sound that it was lacking ... John also seems such a nice guy as well as prior to ordering my set i phoned him & he gave me a run-down on the building procedure & materials he uses ,all the original wire ,alnico poles cut to the varied lenghts'' not'' just staggering the height's by using the equal lenght poles as my original fenders were!!!!!!....
CHEERS & if your wife liked them you can buy-up some more goodie's!! HA.HAAR.......barry..

Hi Bruce and Barry:
I'm noticed that Bruce had liked of these handmade pickups and Barry recommended it. Aim curious to know if we can compare in quality this handmade pups to that more famous as Fender CS or Kinman or Lindy Fralin and others..... Barry:Did you made some tests with these JC pickups? What is your opinion about it?
Cheers from Brazil! Roberto

HI ROBERTO ,, yes roberto I have a strat with ''C/S fat-fifties'' wich I reguard as very vintage sounding p/up's ,& were to order a new set for my ''US-STRAT'' [cs/fatfifties] & another member ''john m'' who bought a set of these JC AUDIO'S'' for his strat & was so happy with-them .. SO I contacted JC.AUDIO by phone as he lives in wagga-wagga NSW,here in australia & chatted to him concerning the build of them etc etc ,,the result was I ordered a set of his vintage model's & fitted them & it brought my ''US-STRAT -ALIVE'' they are very vintage-sounding & compare closely to the C/S ''fat-fifties'' in my other strat & I am most happy with them & a bonus is they are cheaper to purchase .. He is not a company ,but build's these fender p/up's as a side-line,at home!!! they are hand- stagger-wound ,as the ,,'' early fender's were done prior, to machine-winding as they are now'',,,, using the original material's & the finished p/up is exellent!! CHECK-OUT-HIS-WEB-SITE from the for-sale-section on this site under ''JCAUDIO''he has all specifications shown there!!!

Hi Barry: Thanks for your reply and information details about your experience with this JC Vintage pickup's. I had visit his site and I understood what is his proposal and what are the big differences between how he works and how work a big company in nowadays....... It's very interesting informations......One thing it's a handmade production line and another thing it's a large and automatized production line with each time higher costs and always needing to cut cost, undersizing with raw material, etc, etc....We all know how the things are in this days..... It's impossible to compare a Fender Strat made in the 50's with one produced in 2009..... Do you can imagine a Stradivarius Violin (with all your exactly quality) been produced in this days? ? Cheers from Brazil! Roberto
