Hi Pacman, Thanks for your enquiry. I can email the files after payment and serial number of your G2 and name and postal address are received. Payment by cheque drawn from a UK bank is fine. Please email me charliehallATntlworld.com (replacing AT with @) for details and conditions. Regards, Charlie

Hi teleman Thanks for the info. I'm now in the process of sending off for Charlies patches and installing them but I'm finding it hard to follow the instructions in the book with the g2 so I might need some help later on from you and fellow members who know about the g2. I'm using a boss dd-20 at the moment its a lovely bit of gear but as we all know we all want that sound. best regards Pacman

Hi pacman,
Probably the best bit to get familiar with is saving and copying patches to another location, it will save you a lot of time, as a lot of the settings are similar and don't need much input.
Kind regards,
grip

Hi Pacman, Basic editing is easy. It will be easier once you have everything in front of you. You just select the effect to edit with the rotary selector, turn off with one of the footswitches if not required, or if required select the actual effect required from that effects section with one of the two small levers, set 3 settings with the 3 knobs, then turn the rotary selector to the next setting and repeat, then the next and so on until all the settings have been made for the patch. Then store the patch. You can then select the next patch to be edited and do it all over again, but it is quicker to copy the first patch to the next, then you will find most of the settings in most cases are already done for the next patch, which will save a lot of time. Regards, Charlie

Hi Charlie Thanks for the info its a lot clearer now I've read through the instructions again I thought I had to press the save button every time I used the parameter knobs but of course its only at the start and at the finish editing The part about copying the first patch to the next I dont fully understand but Ithink once I start using the unit things will become a lot clearer.I have a Watkins Copycat which I kept from the 60's I've had it serviced but the echo it produces is'nt a patch(excuse the pun) on the Q2's and Q20's give me digital every time. Many thanks Kind regards Pacman
