Hi All:
Recently I migrate to Reaper software for audio recording substituting my old Sony Vegas (where I deleted video track and work just only with the audio). I know that there are another easier free softwares as Audacity, but I really want to use and learn Reaper.
I'm having some starting problems mainly with the editing, since this program it's very different from others. And in net I didn't find any basic tutorial who solve my questions.
If possible, from someone who use the Reaper, give me some basic instructions about track edition. How I can replace a wrong part, etc, etc?
I'm thanking in advance for any informations about it....
Cheers from Brazil! Roberto

Hi Roberto, I use Reaper but mostly for mastering the final mix from wav files produced in Audacity which is much simpler to use and understand than Reaper or the other editing software. I am gradually learning some of the basic editing features from a very good pdf manual that can be downloaded from the Reaper site, but it is not easy so expect to put in quite an effort. There are also tutorials.
Looks like your Avatar has gone. I think you have to log in to Photobucket every so often or the free account is regarded as inactive.
Regards George

Hi George: Thanks for your reply. I also have Audacity and in fact it's easier to use than Reaper. But I'm trying to learn (if possible) the basics from Reaper (first as recording and editing tool.....) and familiarized at maximum with it. I have that User's Guides....but I must to confess to you that it's a lot complicated.... seems latin for me..... I will starting in next week with some lessons to learn this basic steps... and then who know I could understand what says in that User's Guide I saw about my avatar. Thanks for telling me that. I already did my new login in Photobucket.... I hope that now it's OK..... Cheers from Brazil! Roberto
