Hi Godfrey, I had a Korg DTR-1000 and sold it because it caused a hum in my system. I did look inside with a view to groundlifting the earth by a few ohms but found that there are several earth points so I gave up the idea. If you want it separate from the rest of your system and only intend to plug into it for tuning rather than have it connected all the time, you would possibly still need to insulate the mountings from any other rack gear. It worked fine as a tuner though. Regards, Charlie

I`ve never used one, what are the advantages over a clip-on tuner or the one built into most Stomp-Boxes? Both my MagicStomp and Korg AX3000G have tuners.

Hi Ian, Probably only the wider display, making it easier to see when a note is in tune. I get on fine with my Boss TU-12H. Regards, Charlie

I use a Korg DTR-2 that I have had for years and it is 100% reliable and accurate. Main advantage is it can be seen on stage easily and from a distance.
fabuous piece of kit
