Hi All,
Just taken delivery of my 50s Classic (in fiesta red, of course), whilst the gig bag, that is supplied, is OK, I really think I should invest in a hard case to protect it.
I have been looking at the Peavey Hard Case, seems reasonably priced at just under £50.
Has anybody any experience/advice of this, or other hard cases please.
Regards
Brian

Thanks Roger,
Looking at the website, the case looks identical to the Peavey.
Probably made by the same company!!!

Hi, I'm happy with the Hiscox case that I have for my Brian May guitar. It has had an easy life though, I've no idea how much abuse it can take. I see the Fender Strat Hiscox case is about £70.

I bought one of the Thomann cases Didier mentions for my first CIJ Strat and I can say it's an excellent copy of the genuine Fender ones I have.
Apart from the Thomann name, it looks to be the same and has lasted as well as the Fender tweeds, for me it was good value.
Cheers Barry

Thanks Didier/Barry,
I was pleased with my other purchase from Thomann, so will probably go this route.

Thanks Alan,
Looks quite nice . . . I will probably finish up tossing a coin, but the price is certainly attractive.

I bought my tweed case online from the Flightcase Warehouse (in Tamworth I think.) It is an excellent bit of kit & good value for money. It looks identical to the genuine Fender case.

Thanks Cleggy, I hadn't realised how much choice there was in the "reasonable price" bracket. As long as, and, of course, it's the main reason for having it, the case protects the guitar!!!
