Hi - wonder if there are any suggestions? I have a Japanese Non-Export Fiesta Red strat (kitted out Hank Marvin style i.e. gold hardware etc etc) and it is a treat to play and a beautiful guitar. I find however that it is a little weak on the top two strings B and E (strings are Fender super bullets 10s) and the pick ups are US Vintage. Not a big issue but it can disappoint with certain numbers when a middle section maybe on damped notes doesn't just have the volume that I would like)
I have another US strat fitted with tonerider pups. No problem there.
Opinions re -is it the strings, PUPs are perhaps string height settings?. Anybody else experienced this. Problem is I play the guitar on guitar max volume setting and don't have a volume foot pedal to adjust mid song when performing.

Hi Brian, It is probably the pickups. Have you compared the pickup pole heights with the Toneriders? You have to press the strings down at the last fret to get a like for like comparison. Regards, Charlie
