Hi Tony, I received the attachment with your email. It is impossible to give suggested settings without hearing the effect and I don't have Cool Edit. I noticed that it does not have a predelay setting so I suspect you might do better to look at a different reverb. If Cool Edit can use VST plugins try a free plugin called Freeverb 2. I gave some settings here in this thread: charliehall.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=music&thread=3115&page=1Whatever reverb you use, don't use too much on top of echo, it will kill the echo effect. Regards, Charlie

Tony, what version of Cool Edit do you have? I use Cool Edit Pro which has some good reverbs, but really you would do better to invest in a decent reverb pedal. I use the Electro-Harmonix Holy Grail and if gives really lush reverb which is totally controllable. New they are about £75 and they come up on e-bay regularly also.
Cheers, Jim

Hi Tony, Adding reverb after recording gives much more control over the final result and allows the reverb to be in stereo. Be sure to download Freeverb 2 and not an older version of Freeverb. Regards, Charlie
