Hey all,
Heres 1 for you, I would like a set of wireless earphones, I don't want to spend a fortune on some though.
Any recommendations? The neighbours have a little whine if I get the guitar out much after 9 (which is fair enough).

Hi DC
I've just purchased a pair of Logitech wireless headphones in the hope of not getting strangled every time I play. They work fine but unfortunately I cannot use them as there is a definite delay between plucking a string and hearing the result. This doesn't happen with my wired phones so must be something to do with the wireless signal.

Infrared headphones will be your best bet. They do suffer from line of sight issues but they all tend to use direct modulation (FM radio style). Another option is to get yourself some AM/FM radio headphones and use a little modulator designed to plug into your mp3 player in the car.
Most of the dedicated wireless 'phones I've seen use some of the later "bluetooth" style wireless links (some are real bluetooth, some are clones). These all compress and packetize the audio before transmitting it. The headphones then decompress it on the fly. There is a significant delay associated with that.
