How to get that sound for memories?

Hey all,

Hope you understand the question, 1 of the pieces I am hoping to learn is memories however I do not know how to get that sound from the beginning (you cannot hear the string being plucked), is this a bend my tabs (not the best tabs!) do not show it and it does not sound right.

Haven't got the tune here at the moment but from what I remember of it I think that a volume pedal may have been used. The pedal would be in the off position, the string plucked and then pedal used to bring up the volume.

Hi DC,
There is an optional pedal available for the G2, but I don't know how easy they are to find.

Messed up there didn't I!

May consider selling the G2 and buying a 2.1u in this case, it may well limit what I want to do.

If you do that, let me know the serial number.
If you reset the G2 to factory setting ie. erase the programs, I can assign your files purchase to the replacement G2. 1u so you don't have to buy them again.

I've got the G2 without the pedal.

With the G2 you can simulate the use of a volume pedal by setting the WAH/EFX setting to SL and play around with the adjustment knobs until you get the right sound. Then you can turn the effect on and off during the playing of a tune by setting the 'Play Mode' knob to WAH/EFX and pressing one of the foot switches to turn the effect on or off as required.
