Hi,
I'm a new member from Belgium. I just received my brand new VOX AC151. Could someone advise me about the best way to set it up in order to approach the Shadows sound (I'm using a Quadraverb Q2). Thanks in advance. Claude - Brussels

Hi Claude, I am not sure exactly which model AC15 Vox you have. If it has a cut control then it is useful to use it to reduce some of the highs for a warmer sound. If you use the top boost channel then set the treble at halfway or less, and the bass to balance the low notes to the high notes, usually also less than halfway. Sometimes it is possible to get a reasonable sound (closer to an older Vox brilliant channel without top boost) with the treble and bass controls off, or nearly off, but that also depends on the sound of your guitar and the way you play. Regards, Charlie

Hi Charlie, Many thanks for your quick answer. Actually I'm THE Claude with the Quadraverb Q2 bought on the well known auction site that didn't work a few weeks ago. I sent it back to the seller who fixed it perfectly. Now the unit is working very well. Thanks again for your useful advices. Hoping to meet you at Shadowmania. Regards, Claude - Brussels
