Hi Charlie, Hope you and everyone else here are well and in good spirit. I wanted to ask you if you could identify the closest Echo pattern on the MagicStomp that would match the echo used by Hank on the Kingston CD (attached here). I would like to use the same pattern at our next gig on May 2nd. It's a dense echo but the lead is still clear and not muddied by the repeats. Maybe there is some echo level and / or feedback settings that I could apply to one the echo pattern on the MagicStomp to get the same result?. Thank you very much for your help. Regards, Abel Attachments:

Thank you Scott,
I had the feeling it was #12 on the MagicStomp, but the repeats are not as loud in Kingston. Maybe it's due to the recording and placement conditions?.
Thank you much, Abel

Hi Abel, It will be one of the programs from U08 to U13. Maybe U09 or U10. The main differences between U08 to U11 are the echo amount. Regards, Charlie

Thank you much Charlie,
I' ll try them one by one and see. I got so used to using 08 for most of the tunes.

Listening to Kingston I noticed that the echoes are similar to say perhaps 14 and 15 on the q2 but they re shorter in feedback with the exception of wonderful land.....Ques for Charlie....Could these echoes be modified or edited so they still sound loud but shorter in length ?...It sounds like Hank used the same echo all through the gig...I remember being told that he had a baby binson and the model 2 meazzi with him on that tour after the young ones.Could the baby binson have been used ?...............sorry 2 questions...Gary

Hi Gary, It is definitely the Echomatic 2 on the Kingston recording. Hank did use a Baby Binson but it was only as a spare in case a Meazzi broke down. A Baby Binson sounds nothing like an Echomatic 2 as you are probably aware. The feedback can be altered on my Q2 and Q20 patches but it is rather complicated as it involves the changing of a feedback loop level within the program structure. It would probably be best to copy a patch to another location and edit the copy. Regards, Charlie
