hi guys im interested in the ricken backer guitars that the beatles used in the 60s along with other bands but i was wondering can you get a copy of these guitars i couldnt aford a real ricken backer but i just wondered if any brands like epiphone stagg or who ever did any copys

Hi Richie,
You may find a copy that looks like a Rickenbacker but I doubt that anything sounds like the real thing, especially the 12-stringers (stand by for "incoming"). The pickups are unique, the construction is unique, and the 12-string layout is downright quirky.
I've got a 12-string 330 Fireglo (a birthday present from my wife) and it's the one guitar that I would rescue from a house fire!

Hi Richie. I know you're looking for a six string look alike but a good 12 stringer is the Itallia Rimini I've got one and it plays by it's self (almost)---great guitar it cost me about £350.00? with gig bag. WattyBluesman.
