Hi Jed, Welcome to the site. I do not have patches for the G1 models but I do have them for the G2Nu and G2.1Nu. I supply files by email after payment and required details are received so that you can program the unit yourself via USB cable from your computer. The Zoom Edit & Share program is required which is a free download from the Zoom Japan site. The price of my files is £25GBP. Please email me charliehallATntlworld.com (replacing AT with @) so that I can send you details and conditions. Regards, Charlie

Hi Jed, I have heard of one or two people having trouble with the Edit & Share installation. I am not sure why this happens. I use Windows XP3 and had no problem with it. It might be necessary to contact Zoom for advice because there does seem to be an issue in some cases. Regards, Charlie

Hi Jed
Just a thought, have you installed the device drivers for the Zoom and re-booted the machine?
Upon installation, I think you will find the Edit/Share program looks for these, it is also worth checking the web for latest versions that are a match your operating system.
You should find the new USB device listed under "devices" in control manager.

Hi Jed:
Another thought along the good advice given to you by Gary.
Go to the Zoom web site and you will find updates for your Zoom.
I purchased a Zoom G2Nu in Edinburgh two weeks ago and on the Zoom site
I found an updater v1.03 and a G-Series ASIO driver update.
I installed Edit/Share and found it works great!

Hi Owen and Gary apologies for the delay in getting back to you both, but I have had major computer problems including problems with vbscripts which you need to download and instal zoom edit and aware.Despite running a number of corrective programs,I am still not sure if the edit and share program will actually instal itself!! My only alternative may be source a zoom pedal with charlie's patches pre-installed.They seem to come up on e-bay fairly regularly

Hi Jed This will only solve part of your problem if you intend to use the the G2Nu as an audio interface. But if you only want to load the patches, it might be worth trying a friend with either a PC or Mac, software is available for both. Here is a link for the latest drivers, the files are compressed and need to be unzipped before you try to install them: www.zoom.co.jp/downloads/edit_share/software/?lang=enI also noticed some notes on the Windows install that may be worth a look. Regards Gary

Hi Jed
Can you not program the patches manually as we had to on the previous G2 model. Not having one of the newer ones I'm not sure.

Hi Jed This fix below immediately solved my Error 2738 VBScript Runtime problem with Zoom Edit & Share in Windows 7 so might be worth checking if it's the same error message you have. www.jakeludington.com/windows_7/20091115_error_2738_could_not_access_vbscript_run_time_for_custom_action.htmlIt involves a registry edit so if you're uncertain it might be best to ask someone for help but if it makes sense to you when you read it, you'll see it's very quick and easy. Backing up the registry first is a good idea though just in case. Best wishes Rosemary
