Hi all Not sure where to post this but its the best version of Bill and Ben The Flowerpot Men that I have ever heard. Found it on You Tube. It's actually a pretty good number. I sure think the Little Weed enjoyed it. ;D Just a laugh. www.youtube.com/watch?v=eO8fjolMnx8&feature=relatedEnjoy !! George

I have a Willy Wilson album sent to me by Willy. He lives in Cornwall now and has a directing and producing business.
Willy Wilsons Twangsters, 'Live at Cassiobury Park' [Watford] August 1962.
He covers a couple of Shads numbers but for me his Teddy bears picnic and Grand Union Stomp are brilliant.

Hi to both Peters, Gary and Robert Thanks for the comments. Peter it is interesting that you have some of Willy's music on album. There is a CD of Willy Wilson listed on Leo's Den. Not heard of him before I found this Video but he is a good player. Interesting stuff. George.

Hi George
Just a bit more about Willie Wilsons Twangsters. Actually Its Keith Wilson and he was the Twangsters drummer. He played with several bands in the Watford area in the early to mid 60'. He offered me a free introductory CD pack of the Twangsters which I am still waiting for.
I can let you have his E Mail by PM if you are interested.
Peter

Somewhere in the BBC archives is a hilarious interview --- Stanley Unwin talking to Peter Hawkins (the voice of Bill and Ben).
It's not on YouTube (or anywhere else on the Internet) but if anyone has a copy please share it.
