Its not often I call for HELP but I have been given the Challenge to play the main theme of Dvorzaks New World Symphony "Largo" (aka Smokie Blues Away by Sutherland Brothers) at a posh "Do" and some of the chords are beating me when I try to make the BT. Its played orchestrally in Db but I'd play it in C (cries of "cheat"!!). Does anyone have the chords. Its summat like C2/C / Am / Dm, / G7 C / / dm / G7 F / Em / F /Em etc etc. What are the subtle chords used? All and any help would be greatly appreciated. cheers ian

Hi Ian, I'm having a bit of fun with this. It's a bit hard matching the chord phrasing you have above to the "hovis" theme tune . I had a listen to the Sutherland brothers on youtube and the chords they seem to be using are: Intro (arpeggiated keyboard): Esus4 / Asus4 / Esus4 / Asus4
Line 1: E / E / B / B Line 2: E / E / A , Am / ETransposed to C: Line 1: C / C / G / G Line 2: C / C / F, Fm / CBut it looks like you'd prefer a classical feel, yes? In your second line would C / Em / Dm / G7 work? Cheers, Ed.
