Hi Guys,
I currently have a POD XT Pro...rack effects processor for my shadows sounds, im looking at swapping for something else. Can anyone recommend anything, ive been looking at the Boss GT-Pro and also the Digitech GSP 1101...any help would be great!
What do you use..? and is it good for Hank tones?
Thx

You already have probably the best amp sim rack unit why change?

My Pod X3 Pro (modelling an AC15), running into a power amp gives me the tone I want, but the processor isn't going to be much different from what you already have. If you can't get good 'Hank tones' from your XT Pro perhaps you need to look a what you are running into?

I first used the kidney bean shaped Pod 2, then bought the POD XT PRO because of the great connectivity of the unit, and have used it on 99% of my posts.
I have been considering buying the latest POD X3 Pro only because of the two decent pre-amps for mic's, as the phantom power on my Focusrite Trakmaster has now failed twice.

Hi Fenderibo,
The X3 Live (the floor unit) has a switchable effects loop --- I think the X3 Pro lacks this.
I use the AC15 emulation and route the loop (Pre, not Post) out to a MagicStomp with EFTP. I think it sounds pretty good (unlike me).

All the POD rack units have switchable effects loops....
Mike.
PS: It's the last page on edit.
