Hi guys (and gals, I expect) New member here, with a question, of course . Needing to emulate some of the Shadows sounds, I have just purchased a Zoom RFX-2000, via the well known auction site, loaded with eftp. The unit itself is in immaculate condition, just like new, and came with eftp documents but no software. Playing through the various patches, they do seem to be mainly what they should be, but there are a few that really don't match the description on the documentation. My question is, how do I verify the patches are correct? Although I haven't yet done so, I can offload the patches from the unit and I wondered if CRC's were available for me to check them against? More to the point, if they're not right, how can I correct them? Obviously, I have no idea where the original patches were loaded from. I saw in another post that Charlie recommended checking with him before purchase, but I could only find references to a domain no longer in use and I found this forum after the deal was completed. The serial number of my unit is 013303. if that's of any help.

Hi Charlie
It's good to know the unit is genuine. To be honest, it wasn't until I ran across this forum that I realised there might be 'fakes' out there.
I'll drop you a line right now.
Many thanks.
