A Q20 is hard to find because not many were made. The guitar should be fine without further modifications. You need a suitable amplifier as well. If you already have one, which do you have? Regards, Charlie

Hi Seb, I do not think a Fender amp would necessarily be a better amp for Hank's sound than a Marshall, although it would sound very different. A Vox would be the first choice if you were thinking of changing the amp. The best sounding ones are the AC15 and AC30 Heritage models but they are quite expensive as they have the Vox blue speakers. Maybe you could set up an AC30 type sound in the GT6? Then set the Marshall's treble control very low, mids should probably be around halfway, bass according to the depth of low notes that you want. Regards, Charlie

Hi Jay, I think proboards (or it could be the browser) gets confused with links that have punctuation in them. I've altered your post by putting around the link to make it work. Hope you don't mind.

Seb,
Most of the people that buy Q2, Q20s and the various other echoes get them through the well known auction site, they often come up in the For Sale sections on this and other forums. Try Shadow Music forum as well. Very few of the older echo units, if any are available in shops.
Cheers Barry
