Hi Jim,
A very nice tune, very well played with just the right guitar sounds. Good work on the BT too. I enjoyed listening.
Kind regards,
Chris

Hi Kay, thank you, it was a real popular song in the early sixties by a band called the Crying Shames. I can't remember my set up when I recorded it but I do know that it was played with my home built "Shadowcaster".
Regards, Jim

Hiya Jim. Just heard your version this morning - I like it very much. Some impressive fingerwork there, mate. Well done. (Also liked the mandolin-type sound towards the end...nice touch.)
You're right about the Cryin' Shames having the hit with it here in the UK. Originally it was a Stateside hit for the Drifters, and I think it's a Burt Bacharach song - although don't quote me on that, I haven't checked Wikipeadia!!
I also believe the Cryin' Shames' version is used in the film 'Telstar. The Joe Meek Story' as I believe he produced their version.

Hi Glen, glad you liked it and thanks for your kind words. Didn't know that the Drifters also did it or that it was written by BB.
Hi Neil, thank you also for your nice comment!

Hi Jim
Not familiar with the number but it is a very nice tune. It makes a nice, easy to listen to instro. I was thinking while i was listening that it may be one of those numbers that is a bit of a handful timing wise? Great playing, particularly the mandolin type section, and nice sound
best regards Ian

Hi Ian, I'm sure the timing wasn't a problem but I think I know the part that made you think it may have been a handful. Thanks for your kind words.
Regards, Jim.
