Tall Shadows (Strat/ Tele mix) self composition

Another in my ".....shadows" titled series..,,,written and recorded on my BOSS BR 1600 using inbuilt FX and drums.

Rhythm and lead leads use both Squier Strat and USA Tele. Bass is Squier 5string Jazz. Percussion etc from a Yammy k/board. Guitars recorded through the emulated speaker output from a Blackstar ID 15 TVP..

A nice tune that had sections that seemed familiar.."save the last dance for me"...came to mind in a couple of places It all works well, very nice guitar sounds and a good well balanced mix on your backing track, all well played. I enjoyed your work.

Chris......not knowingly based upon anything else but we all are awash with subconscious musical memories.

There was a great Beeb4 documentary about Neil Sedaka recently and he openly admitted to basing "Oh Carol" on "Little Darlin" and taking the rhythmic pattern from the Beach Boy's "Let's do it again" for the monster hit he wrote for Captain & Tenille "let love keep us together". If it's good enough for him etc etc.......LOL
