Just to let you know that Jet’s ‘Diamonds Are Trumps’ CD is now available from the Jet Harris Memorial Fund! You can obtain a copy for a minimum donation of £6.00 which includes UK postage and packing. (If you live overseas please contact us before ordering.)

At the end of last year, I met with John Waterman of Solent Records and he very kindly gave us his remaining stock of Jet’s Diamonds Are Trumps CD to raise money for the Jet Harris Memorial Fund. This is a great album by Jet which also features Bobby Graham. The tracklist is as follows: Theme For A Fallen Idol, Time Is Tight, Dance With the Guitar Man, Wipe Out, You Can’t Sit Down, Diamonds, Man With the Golden Arm, Gonzales, No Other Baby, Soul Limbo, Barney’s Blues, Watermelon Man, Theme For Something Really Important, Tequila.

I can highly recommend this CD.
It may well be somewhat of a rarity now and it was kind of John Waterman to do this.
Some updated versions of old Jet classics, the arrangements of which you may or may not like, and tunes that are (were) new performances etc etc.
And - If you don't smile at the jolly banter between Jet and Bobby Graham on "Tequila" - well then you are a curmudgeon. lol!
The money is to a good cause and one always has room for one more CD, dont we?!
