I have been looking at Alesis quadraverb+ and Alesis quadraverb gt, any advice to which one to go for?

As far as echo sounds I don't think they sound any different but the GT probably has a little less background hiss. The GT also has an analogue preamp designed for guitar but I did not use any of its features when programming the echoes for it. One advantage might be that all GT units can be programmed with my programs, the earlier Quadraverb that came before the Plus will not run my programs unless converted to a Plus with a different software chip. Of these two it can be difficult to tell which is which as they appear identical so they only way to know is to switch it on and look at the introductory message on the screen. If it is a Plus, it will say Alesis Quadraverb Plus. Regards, Charlie
