Hi Everyone, It doesn't seem possible that sadly we lost Jet 4 years ago today. When Janet and I spoke last night, she asked me to share a photo of Jet at Winchester on the Jet Harris Memorial Fund page on Facebook today. It should be possible to see it without signing up for FB by clicking this link ... I hope! Also I thought that maybe some friends might like to see a photo that I took at the soundcheck at Jet's last gig in Fareham on 5th February 2011. Three former bass players of the Shadows - Alan Jones, Jet and Brian (Licorice) Locking performing together on stage. Good memories ... even though sad.  Best wishes Audrey |

you beat me to it with the note about it being 4 years since Jet passed away.
What a stunning - and rare - picture. THREE Shadows bass players all playing together. Who was to know that barely 6 weeks later, Jet would no longer be with us.

I will never forget Jet.Saw him live in Clacton,with the Rapiers....brilliant!

What a card he was, 53 years ago he had me believing he was Jets twin brother while playing with Pete Chester, he played me like a fish on a hook lol, what a sense of humour  Very sadly missed, they don't make e'm like that anymore. Frank: |

Hello Audrey yes...is always sad to remember great artists like Jet Harris and others, but is important to have good memories yesterday playing my Squier Bass VI for a tune by Duane Eddy for my new recording, I though about Jet Thanks for sharing Best Wishes  Sal |
