Hi Viv,
Very helpful post! I was familiar with all the steps except the bit towards the end where you explain how to incorporate a link into the name of a tune. That has puzzled me for some time - never could understand how others managed to link to an audio file using the name of the tune rather than the URL of the audio file. Now I do - many thanks! And, of course, this method isn't restricted to audio files.
Regards, Mike

Hi Mike, Viv beat you to it, he already asked me to sticky it, so I did that and moved it to this special section for stickied threads that I made some time ago because of complaints with there being too many stickied threads in the General section. Regards, Charlie

Hi Charlie, Lol! Yes, I realised my mistake as soon as I replied and then removed my request before seeing your post. Your too quick off the mark Regards, Mike Edited as my selected emoticon was substituted by a series of question marks...which wasn't quite what I had in mind. Must have got up too early this morning

Hi everyone, is it not possible to copy the URL and paste into the Sound file thread? I have a lot of new videos to post up but as I used Photobucket, it seems you can't 3rd party host? cheers Peter

Hi Viv, Had a look at Box.com but don’t see anywhere we’re you can create a free account, am I missing something. Thanks Peter Hi, If I click on the 'sign up' button it takes me to a pricing screen screen where I can click on the words 'individual plans' One of the options shown is 'individual' 'free'. I haven't tried it myself but it looks promising. Bill

Hi Bill, Will investigate, Just to point out, I don’t have a problem with paying a fee for a facility to send video etc but I thought it a bit rude in that Photobucket barred my photos and videos, when at the time was free. I think that my existing photos and videos should have still been active and future ones , paid for. So since that point I have been unable to post up video, quite frustrating really as we had a full Gigg video that we could have posted up free but now not possible. Peter

Why don't you sign up to YouTube Peter? As a by the by, at the moment there's nothing stopping me from coming along to the Black Bull next week. No promises, just I hope so!
