With all the discussion on the different sites about picks recently, I've been sent a bag of Cactus Picks from the United States. This is what their site shows: Cactus Picks have a sandpaper-like grip on both sides that give them the best grip you can find in a pick! They are made of Delrin, the best pick material in the world. Picks are made here in the U.S. and come in three gauges. Heavy Picks are 1.00mm, Mediums are .75mm, & Lights are .5mm. To me the grip is much better than on most picks, even better than the George Dennis ones. The shape of the Cactus Picks are similar to the George Dennis Sharps in that they have a sharper point than most. If anyone wants to try them, they're £1.50 for five plus the cost of a First Class stamp within the UK. I only have the Heavy and Medium picks available and you can have a mix or all the same gauge. Barry
Screws & Picks - (am old fashioned but I still refer to it as a "plectrum") !!?? arrived this morning - really like the "plectra" - tons better than those slippery things that slide out of your fingers like a piece of soap.
Regards
Phil
