Nice pic, but for me there's 2 very important people missing in the pic that were a very large part of "That Sound". For me it will always be Bruce, Hank, Jet, & Tony (alphabetical order of course!)

Hi Dick The early shadows was sound tremendous and when you listen close the base work of Jet Harris is a standout very suttle and contributes to the overall sound more than people gave credit for, Tony was a good drummer . The shadows sound evolved of a long period and the sound matured I was a fan of John Rostill and his untimly death was tragic ,Brian Bennett developed into the complete drummer performing and writing some great music . There are some very good u tube videos of Jet Harris and if you can get hold of a cd Jet Harris and Tangent you will really appreciate his value not just as a base player but as a muso Cheers john44
