Hello, Just bought a Joyo AC Tone pedal to use with my practice amp. Can anyone advise me on the best way to connect this in the chain between guitar, H & C and amp. Thanks, Derek B.

Exactly so, Steve. Remember, if you are running your ACTone into a guitar amp, set the amp tones as neutral as possible or it will influence the sound you get from your ACTone. Think of it as running a guitar amp into a guitar amp. Just my two penn'orth. Ian

Agree. When I use my ACTone it is the last in the chain before the amp which, in my case, is a Bose L1 Compact. As Ian says, running it into a normal guitar amp is going to run the risk of conflict. The Joyo is also a preamp and works, at its best, running into a PA or Full Range Flat Response amp, which doesn't have its own tone controls.

One of the features I liked about my old Korg Ampworks modeller was that it has an "amp - PA" switch on it, which I guess removed the pre-ampedness ( is that a word?) when in "Amp" mode. Ian

Yes, I had that facility on a Line 6 Pod X3 Pro. It by-passed the amp modelling which left you with an effects pedal (rather defeating the object, I thought).

Derek/anyone
I have just purchased the Actone - I want to use it mainly to give a distortion option, but out of interest and in case I'm missing something what settings did you finish up with for the best Hank tone?
Mike
