Looking forward to hearing Martin using the H&C "Live". We are off to Sydney shortly for a few weeks and am playing an impromptu Shads+Surf Gig with him on the 17th. Ian

Hi Charlie and John,
Great news. What a brilliant idea to contact Martin re the H&C. Even better that he wants to endorse it. As you know, Martin is highly respected in the music industry both in Australia and other countries and has many contacts. Hopefully he will now produce a CD of Shad's covers with authentic echo's and his own flavours.
Regards George

Hi, Martin is a nice guy. A few years ago I got some unreleased songs by him. He even helped me with making backings for them. These songs are included on a CD that I recorded in 2009-2010. Best Regards, Ove

Cheers Rob Many over at Surfguitar101.com have already found the website and are delighted with Martin's endorsement, as well as Charlie's accomplishments. Martin's a generous supporter of SG101, as well as with his time & advice - truly a splendid gentleman. There's been an ongoing thread at SG101 regarding this unit; surf guys/gals enjoy echo as well as reverb and many are also steeped in Shadows, European & South American instro, Rautalanka, the gamut. That the H&C unit explores work beyond the Shadows using other echo units is a HUGE plus. Often a little luscious but judiciously applied echo takes the edge off a downstream reverb tank & the mix is quite something. Congratulations & continued success on the Hall & Collins unit. I'll have to save a bit for it but - after spending 45 minutes to get my El Capistan close to the re-recorded version of Night Star that Martin did as one of the demos - I realized that at my age I'd rather "step on it & go." So one of these units is in my future. Plenty of pedal detritus in the music room that can go bye-bye. Well done gents!

Thanks to you all for your encouraging and informative comments. I always wanted the unit to have a much wider scope than just Hank and Shadows music. I have to thank John Collins for coming up with the idea to contact Martin. Regards, Charlie
