I used the orange power booster for many years in the 70's, I eventually fitted it into my Strat below the tremolo...should have kept it!

Hello Matthew,
we might have Denmark Street in London, but unless you happen to have more than just a few bits of silver things can get s bit expensive.
So, just in case you happen to have a bit of cash hanging around, I see Denmark Street Guitars have a 1963 Stratocaster up for sale. It was owned by the late great Gary Moore and is on offer for £29,999.00.
Can’t quite justify the cost myself, so I’ll give it a miss!!
Cheers
Mick

Its interesting to note what the great man himself Leo Fender said about the astronomical prices some old Fenders were fetching. He basically didn't agree with it and was heard to say, if some one brought a very old Fender to my workshop and looked a bit worn out, he said burn it on the bonfire/B B Q and buy a new one, I'm sure some people will shudder at the thought, but Leo was a an engineer and business man not a guitar collector

The same with antiques and paintings...only worth what someone will pay...and they do pay, so the prices get higher, and let's be fair, if someone gave you a mint 1954 Strat, would you sell it for the price of a new guitar or £30,000+...or would you need time to think about it Phil www.guitarhq.com/54strat.html

Of course you sell to the highest bidder either privately or by auction, I was just passing on Leo Fender's thoughts on the subject which some may find interesting, but they are not necessarily mine
