Hi,
Hank has used Mesa boogie amps in the past, not sure of the model but sound was okay. I had a Mk3 Mesa boogie for a lot of years, Shadows and general gigging for me was good. I had the speaker changed to a heavy duty EV which made the amp a lot heavier, very reliable amp. It was a 60 watt amp.
Regards, Garry.

I never disliked the Mesa boogie sound, in those days, I think it was coupled up to the Roland RE-301 echo, When Hank stopped using them they were up for sale at Chandlers in Kew, shop now gone.
The American heavy rock players used to say a Mesa boogie can take wall paper off at 25 yds, quite amusing, I thought they were pretty dam heavy. Pete
