Hi Bernard.
I’ve started looking at your two input download and I am convinced that this is the way to go. There is a lot to play with. My Vox HWTV is set as per your videos and I’m amazed how much tonal variation is available when very slightly tweaking the the volumes on both channels. I admit I’ve never before thought of using both channels at one instead I’ve only ever used either the EF86 or the Treble Boost seperatly.
I will continue to keep experimenting with this, it’s made my sound better already.
As I’ve said before I am very grateful to you for all your kind trouble and time taken in helping me.
Kind regards Steve

hi Steve For you, it is now a matter of working finely around the settings that I give because you know that you have to adapt to your way of playing, strings, guitar...etc. but normally you should obtain great satisfaction there are several possibilities to “browse” around that sound provided that we understand the structure of the sound this is one that is effective enjoy regards bernard from France...and Google trad

Bernard,
your two INPUT set-up is basically what they were doing at Abbey Road in sending a recorded signal from the Vox to a mixer desk and then feeding this recorded sound to a speaker in chamber two at AR then sending the recorded signal back to the mixer desk into a Tape recorder to delay the signal.
I have experimented with two mics one being a SHURE SM57 at the front of the VOX and a RIBBON mic at the back...I have also purchased the COMPLETE ABBEY ROAD PLUG-IN'S collection so plenty of scope with my TVS3 to get that studio abbey road sound. I will purchase the SOURCE AUDIO EQ2 PEDAL.

Hi Stéph Congratulations for your research work. it is true that “that sound” makes us think a lot. lol regardons putting a microphone at the front and another at the back of the baffle, of course make sure to respect the re-phasing. concerning the use of 2 input the interest and to easily work the balance between the high part and the low part of the spectrum. as shown in the little video I made on YouTube. We then obtain with quick adjustments a “palette” of timbres which cover many tunes from the early years. However, we must be aware that this way of proceeding is effective but not necessarily historic.... regards bernard from France and Google trad

Hi Steph,
I’ve not received your PM. To confirm my email address is stratplayer1247@yahoo.co.uk
I’ve noticed that the auto correct keeps using capitals. The entire email address should be all lower case.
Hope this helps Steve

Hi Steve Just to let something about upper and lowercase letters Do upper or lower case letters matter in email addresses? Capitals don't really matter in email addresses. They aren't case-sensitive, unlike passwords. That's because modern mail servers essentially ignore capital letters. They see uppercase and lowercase letters as identical. Hi Steph and ED, Regarding personal email addresses. I did a test to validate what I said. I sent the same message in CAPITAL letters..just an example EAXMPLE@GMAIL.COM and also included this address.. EXAMPLE@BELL.NET Guess what? Both of them arrived at Gmail and Thunderbird from Firefox. Please try that with your address and tell me what happens. It worked for me. Sheendigs

I never knew that - all those times of being so careful - and me a Win '95 veteran!
I have always assumed that if it was case sensitive when using an email address as a log in, then it was also true for sending a message.
Learn something every day!

Hi Bernard, can you tell me exactly what modifications you had to your amplifier please?. Best Regards

Hi Jono
The amp is a Vox 1C15 Heritage Anniversary with an EF86 input and the other input with ECC and a Top Boost the modification I made was a lo cut filter on the EF86 channel similar to the one that fitted the early's AC 15 in the 60s for Vib input My friend Patrice Bastien make for me the diagram This one works very well but I had it removed to use the many possibilities that the EQ2 allows. the HP is a blue Alnico and my tubes are regularly maintained. for me, the most important thing is the work on the tonal balance with the EQ2 because the original corrections do not allow you to obtain the structure of the sound on the cut setting I asked a technician to change the cutoff frequency to make the cut higher (around 1400 Hz instead of 700 Hz I think) and he doubled the capacitance value to have a cut that stifles minus the treble. My left hand strato is a 1962 clone with Fender CS54 pickups and the strings are Elexir 12/52 Mon Echo is a clone of the Vox Echo made by Patrice, with of course the same pre amp as the SEP

Garsytrat
I understand the physics of the note frequencies, but they don’t naturally relate to Keys for me at the moment, so I have found a reference chart that seems to correspond to the “Peace Pipe” Key of A example give (Octaves 2 through to 6):
professionalcomposers.com/note-frequency-chart/
Gary,
thanks for the LINK to that OCTAVE CHART very interesting instantly useable.

Hi Jono I do not have the diagram of the modification of the Ac15 for the Patrice Bastien location because it was a technician who had intervened to operate and it was to him that the diagram had been communicated. Patrice often connects to the Charlie forum and maybe you can ask him in a private message you can also intervene on Didier's forum in France: fandesshadows.xooit.fr/index.phpAccording to your request I think that the best solution is that you can find second hand the PBox that Patrice had produced in many copies. This one includes both the lo cut filter and also - and above all - the clone of the Meazzi pre amp and on Didier's forum there is a specialized section for second-hand sales. several fans are undoubtedly willing to sell their used PBox because most have abandoned the Analogue route to exploit the VST system of C Boileau which brings rapid satisfaction. regards bernard from France with Google trad

Hello
We spent a few hours with our friend Didier13 and Henri, in France, who both own a bit of all the echo machines : TVS3, Magic Stomp, quadraverb, Q2, Hall & Collins etc... Having heard my Clone Meazzi live Didier, suggested I try his BLUE NEBULA which is undoubtedly the least known , The idea being to think of those who do not have, or do not want to use Vintage equipment! This small, affordable pedal has the structure of the Vox echo: namely the Mix of the first 3 injectable heads in the 4th...among other things...so after a little tweaking of the original programming here is what it gives: Strat, Blue, EQ2, Vox AC15 app.box.com/s/hz5qav3dqiujcpl66wx4rmhujbjcafh9Not necessarily to be compared with a clone ...but to listen to it anyway Regards
