Yes, unfortunately it is true, at least for a temporary period. Certain parts are no longer available, it is understood due to world shortages, and it is hoped that similar replacement parts can be found, which would probably also mean a redesign of some other parts too.

Unless you would only want a brand new one, you might want to keep an eye on the ads section to see if a secondhand one comes up or sale.

Hope you can get it up and running again Charlie, in some form or another if the world ever returns to normal just looked on the website too and saw it’s not available . Lucky I got mine when it came out and hope it lasts for years. The only thing I’ve had to replace it the power cable plug

Well worth getting if you can find a second-hand unit, or when Charlie hopefully finds replacements for the non-available components(good luck with that if it means even a partial redesign...) I've had most of the units recommended to get close to the Shadows sound, but this one absolutely nails it. Since I rarely use an amp, I just plug it into my Boss ME-80 . set just the AC simulator setting-and magic! I have a number of Strats, but even the Start copies have Fender 57/62 pickups fitted by me and these get as close as you could want to 'that sound'. All you have to do is play like Hank!
