Hi guys this may be a daft question but its bugging me ...
Mainly noticeable on Wonderful Land Early recording in parts there's like a Cathedral / fairground chime to some of the notes played, what is it that creates that lovely warm sound is it the valve echo unit or is it mixing in the studio ? The only way to explain it is if someone does a demo with a tape unit its there in abundance but if its a digital unit i haven't heard one ever recreated the sound ? Its not so much about trying to sound like hank cause thats no going to happen, for me its more about getting a 60's sound i just love it and want it lol.
