Hi Les This is something I had written previously: I guess you have also a Wall transformer that came with it.. The input midi from the Q2 is linked through a midi cable to the 'MIDI OUT' of the Midibuddy. Please, slide all the dip switches to the 'upward' position. (It means channel 16 is selected) Then you should be in business..If you want to select patches 00-09, the bank pedal - the first one on the bottom row, that has got a downward arrow and the number ten should be down. When you press any button, it should also show on the display window. If you want to go to higher presets..let's say patch #10-19, then you have to press the bank pedal - the first one on the bottom row, that has an upward arrow and the number ten and then button that says 0,or 2, up to 9.. This is the way the upward bank pedal works..any successive pressure will make it jump by 10 increments..10-20-30--up to 120. Obviously, if you want to go down..use the downward bank pedal. The volume pedal cannot be linked to this midi pedal, you link your volume pedal from your guitar to your amplifier. Here is the manual for the midibuddy! www.rolls.com/doc/manuals/manual_MP128.pdfSheendigs
