Hi Lou, I don't know the Cubase program but it sounds to me as though there is a problem with that font file, either because the file is corrupted or because your system doesn't like it, more likely the former. Have you tried cleaning the CD, or at least inspecting it for scratches or dirt on the surface? Regards, Charlie

Hi Lou, I would have thought you could use the mixer with a different program but I'm not sure if any features are linked to Cubase. For example Sonar comes with mixing control modules to replicate certain brand of mixer. As far as I know Steinberg is the firm to contact about Cubase. The serial number would usually be on the CD sleeve if a serial number is needed. Regards, Charlie

Hi Lou,
I registered 1.08 earlier this year, and it's a bit cumbersome to prevent piracy, you need to enter the installation number that is on the disc cover, and you have to create an account with Steinberg afterwards. When you have done that an email is sent (immediately) for you to confirm your account, contents of email look like this:
"...Dear Mr. john doe,You have registered using the following data: Prefix: Mr.First name: johnLast name: doeDate of birth: 1966 4 1Company: Country: United KingdomEmail: anyone@nowhere.com You have read and accepted our privacy policy. To activate your account please click on this link:https://www.steinberg.net/en/mysteinberg.html?(account number here)
After you have activated your account you can log-in using your username "vlad" and your password. Your Steinberg Team..."
Kind regards,
grip
