I have found when the footswitch is not connected the tremolo is permanently activated. I have tried various combinations of turning off with trem off/on and it is still on, unless the supplied f/s is connected and switched off. There appears to be nothing in the manual about this. This is not a major prob until footswitch is lost or fails.
Anyone know the answer?

I found the schematic for the AC30CC. It has 2 footswitch buttons, the footswitch connects with a stereo jack plug. Is your AC15CC footswitch the same? If so, a stereo jack plug could be prewired and inserted in place of the footswitch. Connection from tip to sleeve is for one effect control, connection from ring to sleeve is for the other effect control. When the switches are closed the LED's on the footswitch go out. You would need to find whether the tip or the ring is for the tremolo, when you know that, you just connect to earth the appropriate terminal inside a blank stereo jack plug, and insert the jack plug into the footswitch socket. This would then be equivalent to having the light out if the fooswitch were used.

Charlie

Yes Charlie the footswitch is the same. I was following your explanation right up to the first full stop. :-) But i'm sure with this very comprehensive guide I will sort it. But still don't know if it's the normal condition.

Hi,
Yes you need the footswitch to turn it off.
I had one off the well known auction site without the footswitch but luckily it uses the same one
as the AC30CC1
