Hi Peter and welcome. There is no such programme or patch's that I am aware of for the Zoom 505. Not sure about the digitech but I am sure someone will come along and advise.

Always glad to help Peter. Zoom do have the G2 range. The new Zoom G2 Nu is about £150 plus £25 for the programme. This has had the effect of pushing down the previous model price of the Zoom G2 1U to about £75 new and less if its used via the well known auction site, plus again £25 for the programme. There is not a great difference in the two models. The Zoom 508 still seems to be popular and is going for £100 plus, despite being bottom of the suggested best units to have. The next in line would be the Yamaha Magicstomp at around £180.
If I was starting off I would look at the Zoom G2 1U and get fixed up for about £100 with the programmes.
Tony

Hi Pete, I supply the files by email. You can then program the unit yourself. You can contact me direct to purchase or for advice (as well as asking for advice on this site): charliehallATntlworld.com (replacing AT with @). Regards, Charlie

Hi Peter Quoting from Zoom's site: G2-Nu..You can connect an optional expression pedal (FP02) to control effect parameters such as wah, pitch shift, volume, drive gain, modulation rate, or delay/reverb mix in real time. The G2.1Nu has a built-in expression pedal and a dedicated PEDAL ASSIGN key which makes it easy to select the effect you want control on any patch setting. Effect on/off switching is also possible by pushing the pedal fully down.If you do not intend to control those parameters..you do not need the 'built-in' expression pedal. If you do change your opinion afterwards - just buy the FP02. Have a look here: " rel="nofollow" target="_blank">www.zoom.co.jp/english/products/g2nu/Sheendigs

Hi everyone. Just picked up on this post from way back.
I'm currently experimenting with an old Zoom 505 which I have in my collection to try and recreate sounds of the sixties. My current project is to recreate the Shadows sound and I wondered whether the patches mentioned within this thread are available. Any help/advice gratefully received.

Looks here, there are a few Shadows settings : home.primus.ca/~speirs/zoom-505.txtBut the Zoom 505 is not the best for the Shadows' sound, its echoes possibilities are not enough ! Didier
