The problem is there are so many variations on the Fiesta red colour. The best solution would be to take it to a auto paint shop and ask them to match the colour. There should be somewhere who has an automatic machine that can do this. If there is a large dent, it will also need to be filled first and a suitable undercoat applied first. White is probably the best colour as a base for Fiesta red. Regards, Charlie

Hi,
I know how you feel, I dropped a trem arm on mine, it's only a tiny mark, hardly noticeable, my first thought was - chuck it in the skip!

Hi Bruno, I did not mean to paint the whole body. But you will probably have to buy as much paint as you would need to paint a whole body! You could consult a guitar repairer/builder to repair it instead of trying to do it yourself. Not much use to you, but there is a very good repairer a few miles from me. Regards, Charlie

Grazie. Riguardi, Charlie
Using Babelfish, I am unable to fully translate "meno malvasia", and the best I can do is to translate to "less malvasia". A condition of Proboards (and not Charlie Hall's Forum) is that the language in posts must be in English. However bad your English may be, please try to use English when making posts. Use Babelfish translator to make posts, if necessary. You can use the original message in your language and then put the English version with it, if necessary. Thank you. Regards, Charlie

dear charlie it will be the last time I make a comment in italian be assured. Brunornr is a good friend of mine, back in the early nineties we played together in his surf band but then I moved .The comment (literally means" less malvasia" which is a grape type from which a good drop of wine can be made) was a tongue-in-cheek ,humorous comment on the possible circumstances of bruno's unfortunate accident. No harm intended ,message recieved .

Thank you George, I wasn't sure whether you were able to write in English, and needed to say something now rather than later. Regards, Charlie

Hi George, You could always use the spell checker that is there to be used if needed. But I will warn you that it will often want to change properly spelt English words into the US version, for example, colour would become color. Regards, Charlie
