Hi ! I don't know if this has been discussed here before, a search didn't find anything so ...... it looks and sound okay to me Demo YoutubeSome more information on the homepage Gurus and here is a link to the ManualPrice at Thomann 382 Euro and it caused some fuzz on Gearpage so I just want to share some information here because I'm pretty sure there are a lot of different opinions good and bad I always tought that the space between the heads are very important, and that it is in some way a signature sound for the different vintage echotypes, and as far as I understand the spacing are equal on this "machine", maybe the "expertise here" can shed some light about that Leif

Had this buzzin problem with different equipment and it was solved with a ground connection "somewhere down the line". Usually this goes through the AC plug on some of the connected equipment. Just a thought Leif

Hi ! What Michael Tretow did was he wrapped some tape around the capstan on the tape player in order to get some detune/wobble effect on the piano. Then mix one channel piano with and one channel without the tape on the capstan. Leif

I had a tone lab LE with a 12ax7 , I pulled the tube and it had a LED underneath it that lights up through the tube , It is a bit of a joke on some forums as to wether the tube does anything , I put a black paper over the LED in mine and the tube looked dead and was cold, a 12ax7 runs a plate voltage of 250v 330v an runs hot , the input voltage of my LE was 9volts from memory , personally I don't think the tube does anything , I might be wrong maybe they have found a new way of running a 12ax7 best regards Murray. Hi ! The valve are running in a low-voltage starved plate mode and the LED is a just cosmetic effect Tonelab and the Valvetronix amplifiers have a similar design in what's called the "valvereactor" where the tube does the work of simulating the power stage. I have the schematic's for Tonelab and and the old Valvetronics amp and to me it looks like described in their advertising etc. And to ansver Tim's question, I think the Tonelab still is capable of deliver very good clean and medium gain tones despite it's age It also respond well to dynamics and to the volume control on the guitar. Best regards Leif

+1 ;D I now have Elixir on most of my guitars - I started using them at least a couple of years ago. My experience is: They most certainly do not sound dull. They keep the twang for a very long time. I've used D'Addario, Ernie Ball, etc. but prefer Elixir - They sound at least as good and last a hellua lot longer. I think they're great strings for guitar instrumental music and am honestly baffled by the negative comments above. At the Get-Together earlier this year, I received a lot of compliments on my sound, so it's not just MY ears!

Hi ! Seems that I will be the first to make a comment on this Should be interesting to hear the final result, if it really emulate the Meazzi Echomatic model 2 I can't see any reason for trying it (100 Euro's (parts + programmed EEprom) is not that bad If a sucesss hopefully there will be a DYI "kit, or that someone is willing to make and sell this as a complete "gadget" if the price is right ;D Regards Leif
