I've just ordered a battery from CPC, free postage as well. So thanks again for the offer, Terry.
Charlie, I'm going to have a go at replacing the battery in the Q2, if I fail and loose the patches, can I send the unit to you Charlie ?
Can somebody point me in the directions to replace the battery on a previous thread, I can't seem to find them.
Regards. Tuffty Tony.

Hi Amanda, I'ts Tony Holden, the one who offered youy the valve,ECC83. I wondered if you had any spare Binson Echorec Record/Playback heads? I have been trying for a while to get some second hand ones, but they seem to be very rear these days. You seem to have a good knowledge of these and you maybe able to help. My best contact was with Marco in Italy but it has gone cold. So if you can help, please send me a PM.

Thanks for replying so soon Charlie, I have been on the internet to try and get the Rolls Midi Buddy to no avail, they all are U.S.A based offering to ship me one, do you know where I can get one in this Country? I have tried numerous stores be phone Saturday but to no avail, some of them did'nt know what I was talking about, so if you can advise me who to contact I would be obliged.
Thanks. Tony Holden.

Charlie, could you advise me which Midi Buddy pedal I should purchase for my Q.2. I have had one of your Q.2's for many years with your E.F.T.P which our lead guitarist uses in our 60's group. I purchased another Q.2 second hand with your E.F.T.P as a backup just in case it went faulty(I have had no trouble with it at all) I have had a Rolls Midi Buddy 128 pedal which again the lead guitarist uses, and I have tried to purchase one in the U.K, been on the internet, and I could not find one in the U.K. Can you tell me which one to get, and is there an alternative ?
The name of our group is, "Tommy J and the Midnights" how 60's is that. I find this site brilliant.
Hope you can help.

Hi John, if it is all valve and a grey background on the control panel it could possibly be from the sixties, maybe early seventies. It is hard to say without more information and seeing it.
I have a 1964 AC30TB and they are beeing sold, depending on condition, from £1000 to £2000, that's in good working order.
If it is working or not and all valve I would buy it because they are easy to get repared and when working they sound excellent.
If it's solid state, I would not buy it except maybe for the cabinet.
Hope this is of help.
