for me it's home use only so my Vox ac30h2l is sitting gathering dust (along with other bits and pieces. Shame there is no specialist car boot sale.
the Bose looks interesting but would be overkill for home use.

Thanks noel. Much appreciated. I love the fact that the ipad has no interference noise. Unlike my zoom g5 which is interference prone when connected via the usb. The amp sim on the ipad also sound as good (to me) as the zoom and even my real amps.

Hi all
I know a few of you are using the ipad and need some help.
I am using jamup with the AC30 sim and paid for the multitap and a compressor and it sounds good. Could some help me with a couple of things?
which mode should I use 1,2, 3 or 4 on the delay?
I used the simple 8 tracker. inserting a backing track into track 1 and play guitar on track 2. Nice and simple, but the song will not save. Go to save gave it a name but nothing there when trying to open.
any other amp sims to try e.g. DC30 (which will cost a few pounds)?
thanks once again

Hi Tim
I have bought on line from the 3 companies mentioned and more besides. Never had a problem, most use overnight couriers and packaged well, even excessive so should be ok. I imagine some here may have had a bad experience.

I too bought the Joyo pedal and it is a very well made pedal for the money. Can anyone tell me the role of the voice knob as there wasn't an instruction shhet enclosed?

welcome back and great playing.
A lovely tone from your VT20. How did you record the amp as it sounds fantastic for an 8" speaker?

interested to hear from mustang owners.
which amp sim do you think gives the best shadows sound? I too use an external echo box but find the reverb and compressor useful. The graphics are really good through the fuse software.
Does anyone fine that saving is slow i.e. when typing in a name for the preset and that on switch on it doesn't always go back to the last amp saved? or is it me?
thanks Stan

Hi Tony
can you expand on the settings?

thanks Stan

Hi everyone
for my birthday my lovely wife sourced an old korg ampworks in great condition I have connected it to my magicstomp with Charlie's great patches and need help with a suitable setting for the amp sim. I have tried both the AC30 TB and AC15 but not sure of the tone control setting say for Atlantis or the young ones.
any help appreciated

I have the fender mustang II and connect it to the pc for configuration. It has a really nice interface with big graphics and a community, but as yet no shadows preset. But for the money a really fantastic buy. Give it a try, but to be honest didn't realise its potential till I got it home and plug into the pc. Has an mp3 input as well (but not tried it), vox patch as well as multitap delay etc.

Hi Tony
well the tone I get is not as good as I expect, but that will be down to my lack of a good ear. I think others with the amp is able to get a good sound at low volumes. The tone I get is not very vintage sounding. I have heard better, authentic tones from others on this site with more modest equipment so it must be me. To be honest I have other stuff e.g. G2n (+ Charlie's patches) that sound similar to the amp. It may be the guitar but others using say a Squier again get more authentic tone. Of course my lack of ability may also be part of the problem. The difference seems that when people use a strat and vox for shadows and get it right have that bit of magic that I cannot achieve and very hard to describe on paper. Spent many hours with tweaking eq with no success so far so will try and get to Cheshire club (nearest to me in sunny Conwy) in September for some tips.

Hi everyone
I have been playing crying off the solid gold collection (on top of Hank) as I can't find a suitable backing track. The one I have (Ameritz) is not in the same key and of course different arrangement. Is there one availble off a backing track album?
Also the tone seems more mellow and less echo. Any suggestions on this gratefully accepted. I am using a AC30 heritage on low volume (in the conservatory) with either a magicstomp or new zoom G2 with Charlie's patches)
thanks Stan
