Hi Carl,
If you are thinking of trading in your I pad you might want to consider trying a Samsung Galaxy tablet as this is what I use without any problem, maybe because it is an android system. My technical ability is probably the same as yours so it might be worth considering.
Best regards,
Maurice.

The Warlord - skip it every time... Yes I agree it has never been a tune that I could listen to all the way to the end.

Hi Noel,
My biggest problem is recording. I can play most tunes without any mistakes but as soon as I hit the record button gremlins seem to crawl out of the woodwork and distract me.
Best regards,
Maurice.

Hi Mick and welcome to this very friendly site. There are a few gigging members here and I am sure they will be in touch to give you their views on the gigging scene. Most members including myself usually play along to custom backing tracks of which you will find a wide selection of professional tracks in the backing track section. Don't be afraid to ask about anything music related as you will find a lot of very helpful and experienced members here.
Best regards,
Maurice.

Hi Derek,
I wired a friends guitar a few years back who didn't like the volume knob in its normal position as he kept on moving it when playing. If you google strat pickup wiring with 1 volume and 1 tone control you will get the wiring diagram you need, and you will be able to control the tone on the bridge pickup as well.
Best regards,
Maurice.

Hi Steve,
Try Karaoke Version, they do the James Bond Theme an Hawaii 5 0 theme. If you click on CUSTOM BACKING TRACKS and enter the title in the search box there is a full song which you can remove any instrument you don't want and you can also change the key.
Best regards,
Maurice.

Hi Derek,
Most pickups are identified by using a multimeter, the highest reading is normally the bridge pickup and the lowest the neck. If memory serves me right the CS 54s are the same reading on the middle and neck and the bridge a bit higher. If you don't have a multimeter it would be useful to get one as they only cost about £10.00.
Best regards,
Maurice.

I may be wrong but I always thought the early Shadows numbers were from Apache to Wonderful Land.

Hi Maurice Sometimes when usign a clean sound you will lose some gain. What I did was: I used the Fuse Fender software to get a program that had a boost before any effect, and I created one to my liking..then I saved it it one of the presets. I have a pedal (On and off) that allows me to switch between a clean sound and another one with echo. Sheendigs Thanks for your suggestion, sounds like a very good idea, I will pass the info on to my friend Best regards, Maurice.

Hi Geza,
Thank you very much for that last link, just what I wanted. Funny it doesn't tell you how to do that in the manual.

Hi David, Thanks for the link but I have already looked at that and it is not very clear. There is just a small section on adjusting effect levels so it looks like the only way to get a clean sound is to turn the levels right down. Best regards, Maurice.

Hi,
A friend of mine has a Fender Mustang 2 which is about a year old and he has lost the manual. The question is can you get a clean sound from this amp eg without effects and if so it would be much appreciated if you could explain how.
Best regards,
Maurice.
