Hi Gus and thanks for your comments.............particularly your thanks for the BT............it takes quite some effort to put together a BT without the help of something like BIAB. I've had nearly 250 downloads of my free BTs but you are one of a very few who has been courteous enough to post a word of thanks Regards Baz

Trying to produce a reasonably convincing Instrumental when the original is famous for vocal harmonies might be a step too far.........you'll have to make up your own mind Here's the detail..Recorded on a BOSS BR1200CD using on board Drum Machine,........guitar is a PRS SE Santana thru a BOSS DD500 and Roland Cube 80.....plus USA Telecaster.............Farida PB bass........... and Yamaha Keyboard. Your opinions would be valued..BT will be available soon Regards Baz dont worry baby BT download app.box.com/s/dval6laoo1iwdzlljwqmmc9l3cv3y5k1 Hi Resolution MP3

A recently written new composition. Laid down on a BOSS BR1200 using on board drum machine insert FX and mastering patches Guitars are Strat USA deluxe,Usa Tele and Yamaha keys plus BOSS DD500 delay pedal. No BT with this one unless specifically requested. Thanks for listening .if you stay with it to the second bridge, the harmony line is done by overdubbing not by a pitch shifter It's flippin' hard work but allows you to change from the standard intervals. Hi Val...thanks for your interesting post regarding home built guitars............you're right it is very rewarding to use and record an instrument that is your own work............but..............I must be honest and admit that what I've done pales into insignificance compared to what you've achieved............OK I know that even with pre cut necks and bodies you still need to be meticulous over assembly, finishing and set up...........but this is as nothing compared to you shaping bodies and necks from blanks and then adding frets and inlays!!!!!!!.............bravo Regards Baz

Planet Waves American Stage leads take some beating and are not outrageously priced (about £15 for a 3 metre).

In a different price bracket the Boss DD 500 could be worth a look. ...........recently well received by Guitarist Magazine, I believe its a follow up to the DD20.

Farida acoustics have gained high marks from the Guitarist magazine and LAG also make some remarkably good cheap guitars.

Hi guys and thanks for your responses to this thread...............you should try telling our drummer that they're all left-hamded........ he says its bad enough being told he's just a stick man who hangs about with a group of musicians Baz

Recently purchased a BOSS BR1200 from "you know where" and this track has been laid down pretty quickly to test its functionality. So I've used the desk's on board FX and drum machine, plus my home assembled Strat and amp(see avatar) a USA Tele. a Farida bass and a s/h Yamaha E323 keyboard. Hope you'll take a listen and let me have any thoughts/questions. IMHO It's about making music, not what amp, guitar, pickups etc Baz app.box.com/s/bhc615a5yrmkz1rubc7wbbw0ryo3jjbu here's my BT ....feel free to use it app.box.com/s/oww9dj77wvw1xzgztmisd90im6hz21wm

Hi Dave...............try peter allen at http://www.guitartechnicalservices.co.uk...............before setting up his own business he was factory manager at Patrick Eggle guitars.
I've had a number of guitars set up by him and his attention to detail is astonishing.
I know that he does build guitars from scratch and has had some highly valuable vintage guitars pass through his workshop.

PS he's based near to Warwick
