Yep Ian and Chris are right, the JOYO AC TONE pedal is bang on and at about £30 ( I paid £25 for mine) is excellent value.

I have used the HCSE at our Shadows club and it does what it says on the tin.

You also had the early Fawn normal AC30 (as used by The Shadows in the early sixties) with the EF86 valve in the preamp which would also give a different sound.

Hi Paul, I think I can safely say on behalf of all members and myself we wish you a quick and full recovery.
Regarding your proposed change to heavier strings, if you tell us where you are located (myself if not to far away) or another member I'm sure would be happy to help you with setting up your guitar if your not sure what to do.

Hi Tommy, If the Q20 has genuine EFTP installed you wont be dissapointed.

Hi Tommy, As Jim says, the Q20 is definitely the best Quadraverb to have. Like him I have had both the Q2 and the Q20, they are both good but the Q20 has the edge. Hank used the Q2 until he switched to the Q20 when that became available.

Hi Tommy, The Q20 with EFTP is the best of the Quadraverb range. Followed by the Q2.

I don't have a HC ECHO UNIT but reading all the great comments about how Charlie/John have delivered all the things they have promised, perhaps they should turn there hand to politics. They would be the FIRST politicians that did what they promised!!

Your cheapest way is to get an AC TONE PEDAL for £25.00. set the Amp controls flat and use the Pedal for your tone controls as discribed by Dave Robinson on Shadowmusic website.

Hi again Steve, The aerosol spray is the same stuff as in the bottle that I mentioned, its just that the with the brush on one you get more for your money and its easier to apply just where you need it!
Let us know how you get on.

Steve, About 18 months ago due to a medical condition my fingers all cracked open and I could'nt play. With a gig looming I had to do something, do what I did and go to the chemist and get a little bottle of 'Germolene New Skin' (it cost about £4.00) its a liquid with a little brush in the bottle you just paint it on your wound and let it dry and like it says, it feels and looks like new skin and seals the wound. When the first application is dry - it only takes a couple of minutes to dry - then apply another. It stings a little when first applied but it will really help you to play. I highly reccomend it for sore or cracked fingers.

I have just bought a Classic Vibe Telecaster 50's for £319.00 (last week) this is the 'going rate' when buying new (they all quote a RRP of £418.00) this includes the Strat as well. When I was looking I trolled all the London shops and suberbs to see who was doing the best deals, they were all the same price apart from Tholmann which were about £15.00 cheaper. I think Sandra has got it about right with her answer. Just to say in my opinion the Classic Vibe is a brilliant guitar for the money.

Hi Tony,
Is that my Amp that you mention!!
I was told by Music Ground the Shads 50th. Anniversary JMI 30/6 TB Amp, No 6 of 10 that I ordered, was that I would receive it in three weeks. It took a lot of 'phone calls and 'fobbed off' excuses before I finally (thankfully) received it three months later. But I must say what a fantastic Amp it is.
Best regards, Baz.

Theres an' old saying that you should never store/leave your guitar where you wouldn't want to be yourself. If its cold and uncomfitable for you, then thats not the place to store your guitar.
